why join IPAA?
Individual memberships can be purchased for only $420 per person. As an individual member you receive all the benefits of our corporate members except you can not attend roustabout functions and can not present at our conferences.

*For income tax purposes, 75 percent of IPAA dues payments are deductible as an ordinary and necessary expense, but not as a charitable contribution. Twenty-five percent of dues payments are considered "lobbying expenses" under the 1993 Tax Act and, therefore, are nondeductible. A portion of your IPAA dues payment is allocated for a one-year subscription to IPAA's official publication IPAA Access.
IPAA is the independents only national advocate, and fights litigation in the courts and represents your interests at FERC. IPAA works closely with state and regional associations to promote issues such as:

IPAA's advocacy team in Washington has been nationally recognized as valuable and effective on influencing energy legislation and regulations and was recently recognized for its upstream advocacy efforts by National Journal magazine. The PAC's goal is to impact and elect candidates to federal positions who support the agenda of the independent producer and supplier.
