NAPE Expo – the world’s largest prospect and property expo – will be held February 17-18 in Houston. NAPE is the premier E&P networking venue and provides a marketplace for the buying, selling, and trading of oil and gas prospects and producing properties via exhibit booths at the George R. Brown Convention Center.

On February 16, the day before the exhibit floor opens on the 17th, there is the NAPE Conference and the NAPE International Forum, both sponsored by IHS:
The Unconventional Developments Conference. Hear insights from a slate of leading industry executives and experts that will focus their discussion on “Hot Prospecting in Unconventional times”. The Conference includes a panel discussion on U.S. Energy Policy & Regulatory Changes moderated by Joel Noyes, IPAA Director of Government Relations and Industry Affairs. The Conference takes place at the Hilton Americas (next to the convention center) from 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. A separate fee of $295 ($350 onsite) is required in addition to the NAPE Expo registration fee. The International Forum and Prospect Preview starts with a morning panel discussion on the “Bullish Signals for International E&P” and on managing an international portfolio. That afternoon, companies and countries will present previews of the international opportunities they will feature at their International Pavilion booths at the Expo. The Forum takes place at the Convention Center from 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. A separate fee of $150 is required in addition to the NAPE Expo registration fee for those wishing to attend, including exhibitors that will be making presentations. Opening day continues with the several thousand in attendance at the NAPE Icebreaker Reception on the evening of Wednesday, February 16th. And, you won’t want to miss the Heroes Luncheon on Thursday the 17th with a performance by superstar LeAnn Rimes with all proceeds going to wounded soldiers.
