The Independent Petroleum Association of America (IPAA) is pleased to announce that we will hold our 2011 Congressional Call-Up Monday, February 28 through Wednesday, March 2, 2011. The Call-Up will provide our member companies and state trade associations the opportunity to carry the industry message to Capitol Hill. This is an important event, and we hope you will join us in Washington.

Independent producers continue to face numerous challenges on Capitol Hill. However, as a result of the mid-term elections, there are numerous opportunities to educate new members of Congress about American energy production. It is critical that the industry continues to educate Congress on the need for sound American energy policy that provides reliable and affordable energy for our nation. Many challenges remain and it is important for America’s oil and natural gas industry to take this opportunity to engage policy makers as well as renew relationships with veteran lawmakers.
