IPAA will hold a strategic planning conference on Land Access & Environmental Issues, February 1-2 in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. The conference immediately precedes the OGIS Florida Investment Symposium which begins February 3, 2015.
We strongly encourage all IPAA members interested in environment, public lands, endangered species, permitting issues, safety and other matters to attend this important conference. We plan to have a morning session dedicated to takeaway capacity and permitting issues as well non-regulatory litigation matters impacting operators across the nation. The afternoon session will be dedicated to a tactical discussion of the best approaches to address issues involving the Endangered Species Act as well an update on several federal land issues, including the BLM hydraulic fracturing rule.
