Vice President, Development, Marketing, and Programs
Nikki Thomas joined the association in 2008 and now serves as the vice president of development, marketing, and programs for IPAA and the IPAA Educational Foundation. She also serves as the staff liaison for the capital markets committee.
Ms. Thomas has more than 20 years of experience in the hospitality industry and is passionate about fundraising. Prior to IPAA, she managed events for the Make-A-Wish Foundation of the Mid-Atlantic and also worked for a non-profit benefiting music education.
Nikki sits on several committee boards including the National Brain Tumor Society’s Race for Hope and the Parkinson Foundation of the National Capital Area’s Walk Off Parkinson’s annual event.
Ms. Thomas is a member of Alpha Phi Omega and graduated from Bridgewater College where she studied business and communication studies.
She lives in Virginia with her husband, daughter, and mother.
