IPAA Reacts to Committee on Small Business Report on Agency Compliance with the Regulatory Flexibility Act

On May 22nd, Congressman Roger Williams (TX-25), Chairman of the House Committee on Small Business, along with the Republican Members of the Committee, released a staff report detailing the Biden Administration’s failure to comply with the Regulatory Flexibility Act (RFA). IPAA released the following statement on the report:

“IPAA applauds Chairman Williams and the Small Business Committee for their investigative work in examining the Regulatory Flexibility Act to ensure small businesses are treated fairly. IPAA’s average member company employs just 20 people, making every regulatory action that increases manhours for compliance have an acute impact. The findings in the report were eye-opening and IPAA is grateful for the work of the Small Business Committee to protect our small business members,” said Jeff Eshelman, President & CEO, Independent Petroleum Association of America.
