WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Independent Petroleum Association of America (IPAA) announces the upcoming 19th annual Oil & Gas Investment Symposium New York (OGIS New York), April 15-17, at the Sheraton New York Hotel and Towers in New York City. With nearly 100 presenting companies, attendees will have the opportunity to interact with domestic oil and natural gas executives, Wall Street analysts, money managers and capital providers from around the globe.
The IPAA OGIS New York is the premier outlet for publicly traded independent exploration and production and service and supply companies to present their company profiles to the investment community. Last year’s symposium attracted more than 1,600 attendees, including more than 1,000 buy-/sell-side analysts and portfolio managers and more than 90 presenting companies. Analysts and investors will have the opportunity to meet face-to-face with presenting company executives during breakfasts, breakout sessions and receptions.
On Monday, April 15, IPAA President and CEO Barry Russell will ring the opening bell at the NASDAQ MarketSite in Times Square to introduce “Energy Week” and the 19th Annual OGIS New York. IPAA will also be unveiling its new “Energy Tax Facts” campaign to Wall Street.
OGIS is part of IPAA’s Oil and Gas Investment Symposia that includes similar programs annually in Florida and San Francisco (September 30 – October 2). OGIS has expanded internationally to include Toronto, Canada (June 11) for the first time this year.
